Eurasian Woodcock

The Eurasian Woodcock is a nocturnal, cryptic wading bird known for its excellent camouflage and secretive nature. It prefers damp woodlands and forests, where its large eyes and long bill are perfectly adapted for probing for invertebrates in soft ground.
