Scan the mid to upper canopy of montane forests. Look for its diagnostic white throat, often visible when it's calling. Listen for its high-pitched, slightly buzzy or trilled calls, which are very helpful for detection.
When to spot
A permanent resident in its highland habitats. Most active during the early morning hours, foraging for insects.
