Mrs. Moreau's White-eye is a rare and localized species endemic to the Uluguru Mountains of Tanzania. It is a small, typically greenish-yellow bird with the characteristic white eye-ring.
Where to spot
Restricted to the montane forests of the Uluguru Mountains in eastern Tanzania.
How to spot
Search for small, agile birds in the forest canopy and mid-story. Their high-pitched calls often indicate their presence, as they can be elusive in dense foliage.
When to spot
Active throughout the year. Best observed during the cooler parts of the day, particularly early mornings.
