The Timor Red-winged Parrot is a beautiful parrot native to the islands of Timor and Wetar in Southeast Asia. It is characterized by its largely green plumage with prominent red wing patches.
Where to spot
Found in dry eucalyptus woodlands, gallery forests, and occasionally cultivated areas on Timor and Wetar islands in Wallacea.

Identify by its unique combination of green plumage and bright red wing panels. Listen for its loud, harsh screeches or more melodious whistles. They can be quite agile as they move through the trees.
