Where to spot
Endemic to humid montane forests of the Venezuelan Coastal Range and adjacent northern Andes of Venezuela.
How to spot
Scan the mid-story and canopy of humid montane forests. Look for its small size and try to discern the faint bronzy streaks on its pale belly.
When to spot
Active throughout the day, often joining mixed-species flocks. It is a resident species, observable year-round within its limited range.
